Professional informationI started teaching at GHS in 2005 and have taught biology, life science, biotechnology 1&2, AP biology seminar, and biochemistry. Before teaching i worked in a molecular biology lab for 6 years on everything from transgenic plants to gene expression.

Outside of SchoolI live in Livermore with my husband and 2 kids. We have a variety of pets including a dog, cat, guinea pigs, geckos, and snakes. I like to spend my free time at home relaxing but it seems I am usually catching up on laundry instead. I knit, crochet, and cross stitch when I can (no I'm not 80). I also enjoy reading and binge watching on Netflix. It has been said that I have a moderate addiction to coffee, but if you have been in my class you know that.
